Fees
Where possible we will always try to quote a fixed fee however there may be occasions where we are required to charge an hourly rate.
We will always confirm whether a fixed fee is being charged or not and confirm your instructions before commencing work on a matter.
Where a matter is based on an hourly rate we will confirm to you the manner in which the price is calculated or provide a sufficiently detailed estimate.
We can confirm that our hourly rate is £150.00 and this does not include VAT as this firm is not VAT registered.
Before accepting an instruction from a client in relation to a matter we will always ask for sufficient information so that we can make an assessment of the fee for the work carried out and provide a quotation.
Some matters may require further expenses or disbursements, such as legalisation or apostillisation, and we will include these as part of our quote.
We try hard to be as accurate as possible with our quotation before starting work, however there are rare occasions where we will need to confirm the exact costs before accounting to you.
Sometimes the disbursements or expenses change or more work is involved but in such situations we will confirm the costs to you as soon as we are able to.
If there are occasions where during the matter we realise that the price is higher or that more work is required we will confirm this to you as soon as we are able to and confirm that you are happy for us to proceed before commencing any further work.
If there is a large amount of work or the nature of the work is complex we are happy to provide costs updates to our clients upon request or periodically as agreed at the outset.
